Best place in town. Service is the best there is. These guys feel like family. We love everything about this place.

Amazing authentic Mexican food for a great price! Six of us went for a late lunch and all the food tasted so fresh and delicious. I was eating vegetarian, so I got two Sopes with sour cream, rice, and beans on the side, plus a drink. My husband got the daily special, 3 carne asada street tacos with rice and beans, for $5.99. Total was around $20. The rest of our party got beef and pork burritos, and we were all so happy with everything we got. We were filled up quickly, and there was lots of food for a great price. Plus it tasted great! There's 4 tables inside, but outside there's lots more covered seating that has a nice authentic Mexican charm. I'd like to see it at night. The salsa bar is small, but sufficient. Beware the house salsa. Try a drop before you commit to it. Overall a great place! Great food, price, atmosphere!

I liked this restaurant, it was relatively small, a bit hard to find, and had a cutesy mood. The staff was nice and they got us the food rather quickly. We got the street tacos and were very impressed with the Tinga meat. They had a wide variety salsas and condiments. My only complaint is that they served with a tatertot tray that made it difficult to build the street tacos, also they don't have salt shakers just little salt packets. The food tasted really good and they gave a fair amount of meat. Also the prices were very reasonable. I'd come back here if I craved Mexican food while in Saint George.

La Cocina Mexican Street Food never disappoints! Fresh and tasty!!! The salsa bar is awesome with a simple variety of tastiness. This is a favorite “go to” for great Mexican street tacos! An honorable mention are their mulitas! Service has always been friendly and the place is always clean. Enjoy!

I got the mulitas my first time, crane asada and Chile verde. Both were to die for. They used quality meats and their sauces are really good. My friend got a carne asada burrito that was perfectly put together.

Great authentic Mexican food! The tacos al pastor are amazing. I eat out a lot and IMO this is the best Mexican food in the area. Great prices and atmosphere as well.

My boy is obsessed with street tacos, so I looked for a place to get some. We came here, and he was happy. We also got a quesadilla and chips and guac, and we were all pleased. I loved the salsa bar. The outside seating area is really neat and has misters.

El pastor tacos, rice and beans.. for $7? Great food and great value. I prefer the fried tortillas at Angelica’s, but the meat here is better. I go here every chance I get!

Amazing, great food and great service. I have never waited more than 10 minutes for food and the staff has a small town friendliness found in few places anymore. They recognize my entire family when we come in and ask about how we are doing. Truly amazing

Nothing even comes close when it comes to this place in St George. The food is amazing, clean, great service, and everything else you would expect. I promise this will become your go to stop for Street Mexican food in St George! Simply awesome

Really good tacos. They had lengua and cabeza which not all the places have. I also like that you can put the onions, pico and salsas yourself.

Best Mexican. Is the closest you'll get to authentic Mexican food.

Okay, I gotta go to work tomorrow and my girl took all my Tupperware and we just broke up and it’s the one thing I’m missing. And I have left overs and I need to put my lunch in it so I can take it to work tomorrow. I just stopped by the restaurant and asked if they had extra to go plates I can have and they gave me some so thank you for all that you do.

Love this place! From phoenix, Az and we got a lot of options down there and la Cocina is up there with the best sit down Mexican restaurants lol good food! Love you Mar

Absolutely the best priced street tacos you'll find anywhere. And on Wednesday they're only $1, and the quality is there for sure. Definitely go try it.

It's authentic Mexican served quickly. Options send somewhat limiting and flavor okay. We've just had better and probably too high of hopes based on the very high rating.

Good Mexican comfort food. Simple basic flavors, yummy burritos, good chips and guac, tasty selection of meats for burritos and tacos.

The people who work here and especially the owner are GREAT people. Also the food is the best Mexican in town. We come here often and are always happy and satisfied. The nachos are amazing!

Best carne asada I've eaten in Utah so far.

The most amazing Mexican restaurant is southern Utah!! I live out of town but will definitely be coming back when I come back through town. My young kids scarfed down the food too. Just amazing food!!

This place is awesome! It's hard to find good Al Pastor tacos and these definitely hit the mark. Great bite to eat and the outdoor eating area is perfect.

I "USE" to love coming here for their $1 street tacos every wednesday but lately everytime I would come by and ask for 20 chicken tacos they would tell me no? Which i just thought they ran out but this time when i parked my car in #1 stall i heard another guy asking for chicken tacos and they told him YES!!! I was so mad! The guy behind me was white and I have dark colored skin and to me I took that offensive and very racist. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else especially if you're dark colored skin.

This is a really cool place to eat. One of the more authentic Mexican street food places in town. You sit outside which is pretty nice. Service is very good and they are super nice. It's street food, simple and quick. Some complain about the cars and traffic, but if you have great company you will hardly notice. Plus you're there for the food and people, not to worry about anything else. These people work hard to provide amazing meals each time I go. Every time I pass by I crave it. I recommend the street tacos most of all! Although, everything I have had here is very good.

Ahhh La Cocina. Hands down my favorite taco place in st George. After going to Cancún I developed this incredibly intense craving for authentic street tacos and la cocina is the only place that satisfies that craving. All the tacos are so delicious. I also highly recommend the carne Asada quesadilla and the torta if you’re in the mood for a sandwich. The restaurant is clean. The staff is super nice. And sometimes they have tasty drinks in the fridge. I honestly want to try everything on the menu because everything I get is insanely delicious!

Food was excellent! The meat on my tacos was nice and tender. Sauce had great flavor with just the right amount of spiciness. Great pricing! Staff was friendly.

Meat tasted like it had been sitting out too long, smallest amount of cheese on mulitas, and they only gave us two sauce and one fork for a big to go order.

This one is a keeper. Great street tacos and very reasonable. I tried Carne Asada, Al Pastor, Chile Verde, and Pollo tacos were all great. Very friendly. Wednesday is their discounted taco night. They also take Android (aka Google) and Apple Pay which is added security for consumers. Looking forward to many future trips. They have Coke products on tap as well. Good salsa bar options too.

Great food at a decent price. Great environment, really a well decorated and clean place! The music was a little too loud outside for my taste. Other than that, no complaints! Definitely recommended.

Fun street taco shop with friendly service and really good food. I got the lunch special, $1 tacos, which can’t be beat. Added on the chips and guacamole and the chips were freakishly good. Not sure how the prepare the chips (baked maybe) but it does seem different than most other places. Absolutely top notch chips. A little inside seating and a larger outside area. It was hot but they have plenty of shade and the misters kept the outside cool. Will definitely eat there again next time I’m in St. George.

Guy up front is not customer friendly. Answered irresponsible. Never go there again.

I am no Mexican but this place feel like it’s authentic and was just so delicious.

Food was great and the atmosphere is low key. We don't eat here very often but we enjoy it when we do. The street tacos are a pretty good deal and delicious.
